We organise a club ride on each Sunday of the year. These tend to be on quiet country lanes at an average speed of 12 to 14mph. We also organise the occasional off-road ride. We alternate our start locations between Bolsover and Chesterfield. This means that we have a wide variety of lanes, terrain and, of course, cafes to choose from. Our rides from Chesterfield tend to go west into the Peak District whereas those from Bolsover go east into Nottinghamshire. The "Destination" shown in the Rides List is where we have lunch. This is almost always in a cafe. We sometimes have an "elevenses" stop mid-morning at another cafe and on long summer days we might even have an afternoon tea stop! If you are riding with us for the first time, or wish to find out more information about a ride, then please feel free to contact the Ride Leader. Important: In adverse weather conditions, please check with the Ride Leader that the ride is still going ahead. |
